Terms and Conditions of Promotions

GENERAL RULES – THE FOLLOWING APPLY TO EACH INDIVIDUAL PROMOTION

    • When registering for the loyalty scheme, person’s must indicate that they are over 18 to receive certain drinks promotions & discounts. Persons may still be asked for proof of age as per the Manx licensing laws, all conditions and acceptable forms of Identification still apply. Service will be refused to anyone who it appears, or cannot prove they are 18 years of age.
    • The company reserve the right to alter / change / ANY promotion at ANY time for whatever reason. The company reserve the right to refuse service for any reason / or deny discounts or promotions to any person or group for any reason whatsoever, should the company feel there is sufficient reason too, or that the promotion has been abused in anyway.
    • None of the promotions on the loyalty cards will run during the following dates every year; ISLE OF MAN T.T. FORTNIGHT, MANX GRAND PRIX / FESTIVAL OF MOTOR SPORT FORTNIGHT, DECEMBER 1st – 31st
    • The company holds the final decision on any dispute whatsoever.
    • The card MUST be registered to receive this promotion
    • The customer MUST hand over their card to the server to receive the promotion
    • Any customer who has forgotten their card on the day, cannot ask for the discount another time when producing the card at a later date (i.e. the card must be given at the time – and the discount will only be given on the day.
    • Any customer who has forgotten their card, if they are entitled to some sort of free product whatsoever, cannot claim the prize until their card has been shown
    • Only one promotion can be redeemed at any one time, this is purely because the till system cannot do more than one promotion discount per bill.
    • The promotions are available at ANY jaks group venue, and no other venues whatsoever.
    • Redeeming any promotion/prize can be done at any venue also, and no other venues whatsoever.
    • Not in conjunction with any other promotion on food or drinks in the Jaks group.
    • The discount can only be applied once, so all customers should be aware not to order anything else after the discount has been applied.
    • For any food and drink promotions running – it is the responsibility of the customer to notify a staff member of any allergens they have. Our APP’s will generally cover most issues, nut it is recommended that customers receive confirmation before eating or drinking anything which may cause illness or injury.

LOYALTY CARD HOLDERS  –  TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PROMOTION

5% OFF ALL FOOD AND DRINKS – ALL DAY – EVERYDAY;

  • On handing in your card, you will receive a 5% deduction on any bill/transaction. Whether for one item, or a full bill.
  • The 5% discount applies to both food and drinks
  • The discount applies to snacks and hot drinks also

 

FREE DRINK EVERY MONTH;

  • On the 1st Day of every month, the customer will receive a ‘prize’ to their loyalty card of a free drink
  • The free drink will only activate when purchasing something else, you cannot claim the free drink without purchasing another item.
  • This prize will last until the last day of that month, and will then disappear from their card.
  • Once the prize has disappeared, it cannot be asked for/ and will not be redeemable again in any way whatsoever.
  • The monthly free drink will be decided by the company
  • The monthly prize can only be redeemed once, and the card will clearly tell the serving staff if it has been redeemed already.
  • The monthly free drink cannot be requested by the customer to be changed for any other drink whatsoever
  • All customers receive the same free drink
  • No customer can ask to exchange the free drink for something else, this is not allowed at all, ever.
  • Should the free drink usually be accompanied with some kind of mixer, it will only be the free drink that the customer receives for free, the mixer will have to be paid for as usual.

(e.g the Free drink is a Gordons Pink – only the Gordons Pink will be free, and should the customer want tonic with it – the tonic will have to be paid for as usual)

  • Only the Size/measure/or brand that is stated on the free drink – is what can be redeemed. Some examples;

(I) if the free drink is a pint of Carling – the customer cannot request 2 separate half pints and different times.

(II) If the free drink is a Smirnoff Vodka, the customer cannot ask for a double, nor can they ask for a grey goose instead.

(III) If the free drink is a pint of Okells Bitter, the customer cannot ask for a pint of Carling instead.

  • As per rules above, there will be no free drink offered in December

 

FREE BOTTLE OF WINE FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY;

  • This can be only a bottle of HOUSE red, rose or white as per the Jaks and Barbary Coast wine menus, and no other wines from the menu.
  • The promotion will activate 1 week before the person’s birthday, and will disappear 1 week after the person’s birthday.
  • The promotion will only activate when purchasing another item, and cannot be redeemed just on it’s own.
  • The promotion can only be redeemed once, and will clearly show the server if it has already been redeemed.
  • The bottle cannot be taken away as a off sale.
  • Should the bottle be shared between others, all rules of proof of age apply as above.
  • As per the rules above, should the persons birthday fall in Manx grand prix fortnight / TT fortnight / or December 1st – 31st, the promotion will be disabled on out till system. Therefore the customer must ask for the manager, and have photo identification to prove that it is within the one week before or after their birthday to receive the free prize. Please be aware that if they cannot prove it’s their birthday WITHOUT PHOTO I.D. they may not receive their free wine prize.

 

10% DISCOUNT AT A&J BUTCHERS;

  • This will not be in conjunction with any other offer/discount already applied. The discount will be given at the shop located in Robinsons, Spring Valley ONLY.

MAMA MIA MONDAYS PROMOTION:

  • Only available on a Monday every week
  • The promotion price for this promotion is £20 for any two cocktails under our Theatre & Drama section of the menus
  • For the purpose of this promotion these drinks are: The Antagonist, The Denouement, The Dramaturg, the Exposition, The Curtain Call, The Ghost Light, The Catharsis, The Critique, The Epilogue, The Melodrama, The 1900, The Climax. No other drink will apply.
  • Customers CANNOT request changing the offer for anything else instead, nor in any way whatsoever.
  • If the promotion is a drink promotion, should the manager, directors, or any staff member decide the customer has had too much to drink. The drinks will not be served and the customer CANNOT request a refund whether the drinks have been made or not.
  • The company has the right to take any drinks off any customer at anytime – should we feel the promotion is being abused in any way – with no consequences.
  • If any promotion has certain items within it – that do not apply to it – this will either be noted on the menu itself or within these terms. However, should something have been missed by accident, or any other way, the company has the right to the final decision and any changes within with no notice.
  • Any person purchasing any cocktail that contains dry ice (drink promotions), will be expected to read and understand the conditions and dangers of misuse. The company will NOT accept any responsibility of persons abusing dry ice or any consequences of it.
  • No monetary amount will be paid, only a drinks/food discount dependant on the promotion.
  • Ordering other drinks or food from different sections of the menu, will mean that the promotion will not apply.
  • The promotion runs from 11am (if a drinks promotion) and from 12pm (for food promotion) this is purely due to the opening hours of the business, and food serving times of the business.
  • The promotion will end once the food service is finished, or when the bar closes (depending on whether a food or drink promotion) these times may vary during the year or due to closing early as decided by the company. The company will decide these times, and have the final decision on this with no consequences.
  • The promotion may be ceased / stopped / paused, due to events on the island where the company feel the promotion is not deemed necessary (e.g Manx TT fortnight)
  • The promotion will automatically be deducted at the payment part of the APP, should the customer be using this as their method of ordering and payment.

TITANIC TUESDAYS PROMOTION:

  • Only available on a Tuesday every week
  • The promotion price for this promotion is £10 for any two items listed under our Pizzettes section of the menu.
  • For the purpose of this promotion these items are: ‘any item mentioned within the pizzette section, and nothing from any other section.’
  • Customers CANNOT request changing the offer for anything else instead, nor in any way whatsoever.
  • If the promotion is a drink promotion, should the manager, directors, or any staff member decide the customer has had too much to drink. The drinks will not be served and the customer CANNOT request a refund whether the drinks have been made or not.
  • The company has the right to take any drinks off any customer at anytime – should we feel the promotion is being abused in any way – with no consequences.
  • If any promotion has certain items within it – that do not apply to it – this will either be noted on the menu itself or within these terms. However, should something have been missed by accident, or any other way, the company has the right to the final decision and any changes within with no notice.

  • The promotion price for this promotion is £16 for any two items listed under our Special cocktails section of the menu
  • For the purpose of this promotion these items are: Candy Floss, Tropical Sling, Twister, Tutti Frutti, Jack Frost, Popcorn, Forbidden Fruit, Pornstar Martini, Pink Gin Fizz.
  • Customers CANNOT request changing the offer for anything else instead, nor in any way whatsoever.
  • If the promotion is a drink promotion, should the manager, directors, or any staff member decide the customer has had too much to drink. The drinks will not be served and the customer CANNOT request a refund whether the drinks have been made or not.
  • The company has the right to take any drinks off any customer at anytime – should we feel the promotion is being abused in any way – with no consequences.
  • If any promotion has certain items within it – that do not apply to it – this will either be noted on the menu itself or within these terms. However, should something have been missed by accident, or any other way, the company has the right to the final decision and any changes within with no notice.

  • For the purpose of this promotion these items are: any item (except the one item mentioned below) within the meat section of the menu, and no other item from any section of any menu.
  • The Charcuterie Board listed within this menu does NOT pply to the promotion due to I’s price. This is also noted on the menu underneath the promotion picture.
  • Customers CANNOT request changing the offer for anything else instead, nor in any way whatsoever.
  • If the promotion is a drink promotion, should the manager, directors, or any staff member decide the customer has had too much to drink. The drinks will not be served and the customer CANNOT request a refund whether the drinks have been made or not.
  • The company has the right to take any drinks off any customer at anytime – should we feel the promotion is being abused in any way – with no consequences.

  • Customers CANNOT request changing the offer for anything else instead, nor in any way whatsoever.
  • If the promotion is a drink promotion, should the manager, directors, or any staff member decide the customer has had too much to drink. The drinks will not be served and the customer CANNOT request a refund whether the drinks have been made or not.
  • The company has the right to take any drinks off any customer at anytime – should we feel the promotion is being abused in any way – with no consequences.

  • The promotion price for this promotion is £16 for any two items listed under our Classic Cocktails section of the menu
  • For the purpose of this promotion these items are: Appletini, Aperol Spritz, Woo Woo, Maitai, Espresso Martinin, Mojito, Pina Colada, Long Island Iced Tea, Cosmopolitan, French Martini, Sex on the Beach. Any flavour of Frozen Daiquiri or Margarita.
  • Margarita and Daiquiri’s must be ordered in two of the same flavour for the promotion to apply, ordering different flavours will NOT activate the promotion.
  • Customers CANNOT request changing the offer for anything else instead, nor in any way whatsoever.
  • If the promotion is a drink promotion, should the manager, directors, or any staff member decide the customer has had too much to drink. The drinks will not be served and the customer CANNOT request a refund whether the drinks have been made or not.
